Yes, Duke's Beach House Maui has dessert, view their dessert menu on Sirved. Duke’s Beach House honors renowned waterman and Hawaii’s most famous son, Duke Kahanamoku. He was an Olympic swimmer and the father of modern day surfing but he may be best known for sharing his genuine spirit of Aloha. A trip to Maui isn’t complete without ducking underwater to spy on clouds of striped manini fish, eagle rays and turtles.

Add two scoops of rice and crunchy fern salad for a truly local meal. If you prefer a cooked lunch, visit Tails Up Maui for a classy fish sandwich ($19) or mochiko (rice flour) fried chicken ($17). Take your picnic to Kepaniwai Park, where model houses commemorate the diverse cultures of Hawaii’s sugar plantation era, and dip your feet into the Wailuku River.
Ribeye Steak
Served with a side of crispy wonton chips, it’s the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The freshness of the tuna combined with the crunch of the chips will leave you wanting more. Our version starts with crisp romaine lettuce, tossed in a creamy Caesar dressing that has just the right amount of tanginess. We then top it off with shaved Parmesan cheese and homemade croutons for that perfect crunch.

Whatever you're into, we're sure Duke's menu has something delicious for everyone to try. The Poke Tacos, Crab & Macadamia Nut Wontons, Seafood Risotto, and Banana Leaf Steamed Island Fish & Chips are some of our favorite options on the menu. We also highly recommend the Chef’s 1/2 LB Cheeseburger if you’re looking for a familiar staple. Take the scenic drive back to sea level through historic Makawao and Paia towns.
Lunch reservations recommended,
Today there are six open-air oceanfront Dukes locations offering gorgeous coastal views, a fun atmosphere, and delicious food. In 1989, the original Duke’s restaurant was born along the shores of Kalapaki Bay in Kauai. Duke’s third location and our personal favorite, Duke’s Maui, came to life in 2009 on Kaanapali North Beach at the Honua Kai Resort and Spa. Three additional locations can be enjoyed along California's southern coast, including Malibu, Huntington Beach, and La Jolla. At our restaurant, we believe that enjoying a steak or ribs should be an experience that captivates all your senses.
So next time you’re in the mood for a light and healthy meal, come on down to Duke’s and let us take your salad experience to the next level. If you’re craving something with a Mediterranean twist, our Greek Salad is a must-try. It starts with a bed of crisp lettuce, topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese. We finish it off with a drizzle of our homemade Greek dressing, which adds a tangy and herbaceous note to the dish. It’s a refreshing and satisfying option that will transport you straight to the sunny shores of Greece. Don’t miss the ‘Oko‘a Farm Store, which migrated from the market into an adjacent storefront.
Bordered by a rodeo arena and a polo field, Makawao is the charming headquarters of the paniolo, Hawaiian cowboys who continue to rope and ride across the island’s lush ranchlands. Komoda Store and Bakery; this beloved family-run business, which has served the community since 1916, sells out of its cream puffs and butter rolls daily. Once a busy sugar plantation hub surrounded by green cane fields, it’s now home to surfers and artists. As you pass Baldwin Beach, admire the view of the rain-carved West Maui Mountains.

To enhance the taste, our chefs brush the ono with a zesty lemon and herb marinade, which adds a refreshing and tangy twist to each bite. Served with a side of quinoa pilaf and steamed asparagus, this dish is a healthy and satisfying option for those who want to enjoy seafood without feeling weighed down. To add a touch of elegance to this dish, our chefs lightly drizzle a creamy hollandaise sauce over the shrimp. The sauce adds a velvety texture and a hint of tanginess that perfectly complements the seafood.
Grilled mahi mahi is nestled in warm corn tortillas and topped with crunchy cabbage slaw, tangy pico de gallo, and a zesty lime crema. Each bite is a burst of flavors that will transport you to a sunny beachside taco stand. When it comes to burgers, our Duke’s Classic Burger is a true crowd-pleaser. Made with a juicy beef patty cooked to perfection, this burger is topped with all the classic fixings – lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.

When you’re in the mood for something lighter but still packed with flavor, our salads are the perfect choice. The combination of the moist cake and the oozing chocolate is pure bliss. It’s the kind of dessert that makes you close your eyes and savor every decadent bite. Pair it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate chocolate experience. If you’re in the mood for something a little different, our Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos are a must-try.
Each dessert is meticulously prepared by our talented chefs, who take pride in creating desserts that are both visually stunning and absolutely delicious. From the first bite to the last, you’ll be enchanted by the flavors and textures that dance on your palate. One of the crown jewels of our menu is the mouthwatering Ribeye Steak. This cut of beef is known for its exceptional marbling, which results in a buttery texture and rich flavor. Our skilled chefs expertly grill the Ribeye to perfection, ensuring a juicy and tender steak that will have you coming back for seconds.
If you’re in the mood for something a little lighter but equally satisfying, the Grilled Chicken Club is the perfect choice. Tender, grilled chicken breast is the star of this sandwich, accompanied by crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and creamy mayo. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, ensuring that each bite is packed with flavor. The bacon adds a delicious smokiness, while the lettuce and tomatoes provide a refreshing crunch. This sandwich is a great option for those looking for a healthier alternative without compromising on taste. These tacos are bursting with flavor and will transport your taste buds to a tropical paradise.
One of our favorite and most recommended restaurants on Maui, Dukes Beach House, is located at the center of Honua Kai Resort & Spa along the islands west coast in Kaanapali. The restaurant is a complete homage to “Hawaii’s Favorite Son” and late surfing legend Duke Kahanamoku. Duke was a world-famous Olympic athlete, an innovator of modern-day surfing, and a man who strived to share the true essence of Aloha wherever he went.
It’s part of the T S Restaurants family, which includes Kimo’s, Hula Grill, and Leilani’s on Maui, Keoki’s Paradise on Kauai, and Duke’s in Waikiki—among others. Although you can order the massive signature hula pie for dessert, the rest of the menu reflects a less formulaic approach. The gracious sea-breeze-kissed locale, including the handsome Ohia Bar, and the kitchen’s commitment to serving locally raised beef, eggs, and vegetables are also pluses. Add to that live music during dinner and the daily “aloha hour” (3–5pm). For those who prefer a lighter option, our Grilled Chicken Club is a fantastic choice.
